
Eastern Florida State College Men’s Golf Team Places Third at Glenlakes Invitational
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team secured a commendable third place at the Glenlakes Invitational, demonstrating their prowess on the green. The tournament, held at the Glenlakes Golf Club, showcased some of the finest collegiate golf talent in the region, with the Titans from Eastern Florida State College finishing strong among tough competition.
Leading the team was sophomore standout Miguel Leal, who finished the tournament with a score of 7-under par, placing him in the top tier of individual performers. Close behind, teammates Juan Lopez and Carlos Martinez also posted impressive scores, contributing significantly to the team's overall success.
Coach Mark Carter expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance, noting the improvement and dedication shown by his players throughout the season. "We've been working hard to refine our skills and strategies, and it's rewarding to see it pay off in such a competitive field," Carter remarked.
